Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive located in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Sales Executive, you'll lead sales and business development efforts in Indonesia building relationships, expanding market reach, and driving new opportunities. You'll also represent Ivent at industry events and connect with potential clients. The role requires a proactive approach to generate leads and close sales efficiently.
Scope
1. Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting
- Take ownership of outbound sales activities; reaching out proactively to potential clients through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, events, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying prospects in industries such as event organizers, corporates, associations, and agencies.
- Conduct market research and mapping to identify new opportunities in the Indonesian event ecosystem.
- Attend and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions to generate leads and enhance visibility.
2. Qualifying & Presenting
- Understand client needs and match them with the right solutions (event system, on-site support, etc.).
- Give product demos and presentations (online or in-person)
- Customize proposals and follow up on client interest
3. Quotation & Closing
- Prepare quotations, commercial offers, and pitch decks
- Negotiate terms and close deals
- Draft agreements or pass info to the admin team for processing
4. Post-Sales Roles
- Manage the operation and customer experience
- Manage clients accounts pre, during and post event
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Update CRM and pipeline reports regularly.
- Join sales syncs with the Malaysia team and share market insights
Qualification:
- Independent, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in event management or SaaS (software-as-a-service).
- Confident in communicating with clients and presenting ideas.
- Organized and consistent in follow-ups.
- Comfortable using email, Zoom/Google Meet, and basic office tools.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and able to communicate in English.
- Willingness to travel for meetings or events.
- Experience working remotely or with international teams.
