Job Description

On behalf or our client, Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is hiring a Sales Engineer (Agriculture – Spraying Automation) based in Jakarta, covering the Indonesia market. This role is responsible for driving sales and providing technical support for agricultural spraying automation products. It focuses on actively acquiring new clients, expanding market presence, and aligning advanced spraying technologies with customer needs to improve efficiency and productivity in agricultural operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share across Indonesia
  • Actively acquire new clients, including distributors, plantations, and commercial farming operations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and untapped markets
  • Promote and sell spraying automation solutions through direct customer engagement
  • Provide technical consultation on spraying systems, calibration, and application efficiency
  • Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and customer training sessions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align technical solutions with commercial objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Engineering, or a related field
  • Must have experience within the agriculture industry
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, sales engineering, or technical roles with strong client acquisition (hunter) exposure
  • Strong understanding of spraying technology, agrochemical application, or precision agriculture
  • Proven track record in acquiring new customers and developing sales opportunities
  • Experience working with distributors, plantations, or large-scale farming operations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and technical presentation skills
  • Good command of English is required
  • Willing to travel extensively across Indonesia
  • Able to combine technical expertise with a strong commercial and business development mindset
  • This role is based in Jakarta and covers the Indonesia market.
