Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is hiring a Sales Engineer (General Industrial) based in Surabaya, covering East Java and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for driving sales growth and providing technical support for industrial spraying solutions. The position focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering solutions that improve customer operations and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers within the general industrial market.
- Promote and sell industrial spraying systems and related solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, OEMs, and industrial partners.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
- Manage sales activities and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with internal teams to support customer projects and inquiries.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, or Business Development within industrial markets.
- Experience handling customers from industries such as food & beverage, chemicals, manufacturing, utilities, packaging, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to develop new business and acquire new customers.
- Experience selling industrial equipment, automation products, instrumentation, pumps, valves, nozzles, or other technical products is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel frequently within East Java and surrounding areas.
- Based in Surabaya or willing to be based in Surabaya.
