We are seeking a Sales Director to drive business growth in Indonesia by acquiring new customers and expanding strategic accounts across Telco, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, and Retail.
Key Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and opportunity development through to deal closure.
- Initiate engagement with targeted accounts; build and manage a robust sales pipeline with weekly updates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors, decision-makers, and influencers to ensure long-term partnerships, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish strategic partnerships with third parties and opportunity-specific channels to extend market reach.
- Participate in internal sales reviews and provide regular pipeline, forecast, and performance reports.
- Prepare annual budgets and present short- and long-term sales strategies and competitive positioning to senior management and the board.
- Align sales opportunities with business and financial objectives, demonstrating strong understanding of customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and lead commercial negotiations.
- Manage post-sales activities including relationship management, invoicing coordination, collections, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience, including at least 7 years in enterprise software, technology solutions, or system integration sales.
- Strong knowledge of marketing automation and customer engagement platforms.
- Proven track record of developing new clients and closing complex opportunities in the Indonesian market.
- Established network within Telecom, Banking, Financial Services, or Retail sectors.
- Experience engaging C-level and senior executives; exposure to CMOs and Strategy teams is a plus.
- Demonstrated success selling complex, innovative solutions with long B2B sales cycles.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Existing or prior relationships with major Telco operators, leading banks (BUKU 3/4), or insurance providers preferred.
- Strong hunter mindset with a history of closing large enterprise deals.
- Comfortable working in multicultural teams and fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Salesforce CRM.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
