The Sales Command Centre Manager will lead a team that drives sales performance
improvement by enabling real-time visibility, rapid decision-making, and
disciplined execution across the commercial and supply chain network, while ensuring
strong product availability and effective supply chain management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance Monitoring & Analysis
a) Monitor daily/weekly sales performance vs targets across regions, channels, and
SKUs
b) Identify performance gaps and emerging trends
c) Provide actionable insights to sales leadership
d) Support short-term sales forecasting and demand signals
2. Monitor cross sales sub function performance and recommend actions to drive
sales.
a) Monitor stock levels at the distributor and outlet levels, distributor sell in versus sell-
out performance, route plan adherence and outlet coverage, promotion performance
and ROI
b) Identify underperformance and recommend corrective actions
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
a) Act as a central coordination point between sales, supply chain, finance, and
distributors
b) Facilitate regular performance review meetings
c) Ensure alignment and follow-through on agreed actions
4. Data & Reporting Management
a) Develop and maintain dashboards for sales and operational KPIs
b) Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
c) Provide regular performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
d) Drive adoption of data-driven decision making
Capabilities Required
1. FMCG and Commercial Understanding
Strong understanding of FMCG and sales operations (route-to-market)
Familiarity with key sales drivers
2. Analytical & Data Interpretation Skills
Ability to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights and
recommendations.
Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skills
Proficiency in tools such as Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

5. Project & Process Management
7. Digital & Systems Familiarity (good to have)
Familiarity with: Sales Force Automation (SFA), Distributor Management Systems
(DMS), exposure to dashboarding and reporting systems
