Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. This role supports the business by providing reliable financial information, maintaining internal controls, and assisting with budgeting, audits, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment follow‑ups
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation
  • Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and support cost control initiatives
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties such as auditors, banks, and tax authorities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (depending on seniority)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience using accounting or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting certification (e.g Brevet A/B)
  • Experience in manufacturing or multinational environments
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and statutory reporting
