About the Role
We're looking for an experienced IT Business System Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements, improve processes, and deliver effective system solutions that support business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business users to gather and analyze requirements for reporting and business intelligence solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and highlight system challenges
- Participate in projects at team, departmental, and global levels
- Support application testing, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Monitor and track system issues to ensure timely resolution
- Document business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Assist with incident management and change requests
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors when needed
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in IT or a similar Business System Analyst role
- Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)
- Familiarity with SAP and MES systems is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, ABAP, or Python is a plus
- Experience with Google Apps Script is an added advantage
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a project-based environment
- Strong team player with good collaboration skills
- Willing to be placed in Batam
