As aQA Tester, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications acrossWeb, Mobile, and API platforms. You will work with developers, product owners, and analysts to design and execute test strategies that meet business and technical needs. The role requires experience inmanual and automation testing, knowledge ofdatabases and API testing, and familiarity withAgile/Scrum. You will participate in the entire SDLC, from analyzing user stories to executing test cases, finding bugs, and supporting bug fixes. Responsibilities:
- Analyze user stories to define comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on acceptance criteria (DoD).
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across Web, Mobile, and API platforms.
- Conduct API testing and contribute to performance testing when needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Document test results, track defects, and support root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Tester.
- Has experience using Business Support System (BSS).
- Proven experience in manual and automation testing for Web, Mobile, and API.
- Proficiency with SQL, Oracle, and relational databases (MySQL familiarity is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Git/SVN version control.
- Understanding of Agile development, microservices, RESTful APIs, SOA, and CI/CD concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Ability to read and interpret business requirements and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Technical exposure to Java, JavaScript, Python is a plus.
- Experience with API Gateway, Golang, XML, SOAP Web Services is an advantage.
