Responsibilities
- Assisting in interpreting during company business negotiations, site visits, etc.
- Building and maintaining relationships with local officials, community leaders, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitoring legislation and policy changes that could impact the organization and lobbying for favorable outcomes.
- Preparing, coordinating, and submitting permit applications (e.g., building, environmental, zoning, or land use).
- Interpreting local codes, state laws, and federal regulations to ensure projects meet all legal requirements.
- Tracking regulatory changes and assessing their impact on permits.
- Creating and analyzing project-related information reports, including market policy dynamics.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database of active, expired, and pending permits and ensuring all conditions of approval are met.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Indonesian, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpreting skills in multiple languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
- At least 3-4 years of work experience in the licensing field (AMDAL, PBG, Jetty, etc.), including managing and coordinating with relevant agencies.
- Experience in government relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Background in regulatory analysis and market research.
