Project Technical Entertainment direct report to Group Head of Imagineering
Project Technical Entertainment Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing entertainment-related technical projects, ensuring that all installations, equipment, and show systems are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with creative and operational standards. This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and creative execution to support high-quality entertainment experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute technical aspects of entertainment projects, including stage, sound, lighting, multimedia, and special effects.
- Collaborate with creative, operations, and project management teams to align technical execution with entertainment concepts.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for equipment procurement, installation, and maintenance.
- Ensure all technical systems comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Supervise technical rehearsals, testing, and troubleshooting of show systems.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources for efficient execution.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions for operational challenges in entertainment projects.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Technical Production, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in entertainment technical project management (theme park, theater, live show, or events preferred).
- Strong knowledge of stagecraft, lighting, sound systems, multimedia, and special effects.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication in English (oral and written) is an advantage.
