Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Product Owner for Internal Applications, you will own the systemsfrom billing to internal ticketingthat power our business operations. You will act as the vital bridge between internal stakeholders and engineering to ensure our systems accurately reflect real-world workflows.

We are looking for a collaborator who leads with Honesty to maintain system integrity, practices Empathy to solve the genuine pain points of our team members, and brings the Agility needed to pivot as our operational needs evolve. Your goal is to drive system correctness, efficiency, and long-term sustainability through strengthened internal capabilities.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Support the creation and maintenance of the product backlog, practicing Agility to adjust priorities as business needs shift.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, translating their daily challenges into clear, actionable user stories that truly solve their problems.
  • Plan, track, and communicate delivery progress and risks with Honesty, ensuring stakeholders have realistic expectations regarding scope and priority.
  • Act as a point of coordination between business and engineering, fostering a culture of trust and alignment throughout development cycles.
  • Monitor daily progress and identify blockers early; use your Agility to drive resolutions and keep the team moving.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet the actual needs of our internal users before release.
  • Maintain precise documentation of requirements and decisions to ensure long-term system maintainability and traceability.
  • Join internal meetings to capture discussions and follow up on action items, ensuring accountability across the board.
  • Report on daily development progress, raising issues or risks with Honesty as soon as they are identified.

Requirements

What Capabilities You'll Need (Requirements)

  • Minimum 2+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Operations Analyst handling internal products.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with systems supporting finance, operations, billing, or workflow tools.
  • Strong ability to define clear requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria, with a high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts (APIs, data flows) to facilitate Agile technical discussions.
  • Proficient in Jira or similar tools for backlog management and sprint tracking.
  • Solid logical thinking with the Agility to solve complex problems and make tough prioritization decisions.
  • Clear and effective communicator who approaches stakeholder management with Empathy and professional candor.
  • A high sense of ownership and Honesty, with the ability to follow through from the initial requirement to final delivery.
  • Added Value: Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives.
