Work Arrangement: Fully remote position

Salary Range: RM 3,500 RM 7,000 (depending on experience and skill set)

Role Overview

TUG is seeking a Product Owner (Project Manager) to drive product outcomes while ensuring disciplined delivery execution across a growing multi-module platform.

This role is product-first by design. The successful candidate will own the product backlog end-to-end, define product direction and priorities, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time, with clarity, and with measurable business impact.

Primary Responsibilities - Product Ownership & Product Management

Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog end-to-end, translating business and user needs into clear PRDs, user stories, and prioritized deliverables. Lead product discovery, define MVP scope, manage sprint priorities, and ensure features deliver measurable business value across multiple platform modules.

Secondary Responsibilities - Project Management & Delivery

Support delivery execution by managing timelines, sprint tracking, dependencies, and risks. Coordinate releases, monitor delivery progress, and provide clear status reporting to ensure predictable, on-time outcomes aligned with product objectives.

Required Experience & Background

26 years of experience in:

• Product Ownership
• Product Management
• Project / Delivery Management

Proven experience in:

• Product + delivery hybrid roles
• Technical Product Management
• Startup environments
• Enterprise or scale-up platforms

Tools & Platforms

• Product & Delivery: Jira, Trello, MS Project Manager, ClickUp
• Engineering Collaboration: GitHub, Jira
• Documentation & Planning: As required by team workflows

• Strong product thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent requirement articulation and documentation
• Ability to balance business value vs delivery constraints
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles
• Confident in managing multiple modules and dependencies

• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working in or with startups
• PMP, Prince2, Agile, or Scrum certification
• Familiarity with UI/UX processes and tools (e.g., Figma, Zeplin)
• Ability to translate business goals into technical execution
