Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the control environment of the risk and advance buy process
• Perform risk assessments on potential new and existing contracts and agreements
• Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and preparation of contracts.
• Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money.
• Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business.
• Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
• Ensure a close operation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement
• Contract management: work closely with Legal & Compliance team ensure all contracts been reviewed and properly signed.
• Conduct supplier management processes: qualification, selection, evaluation, development and classification, update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality
• Prepare and conduct negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings
• Evaluate new / existing suppliers and update Approved Vendor List.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field is preferred
• Proven experience in Procurement for 4-6 years
• Strong knowledge of Procurement business processes and experienced using supply chain management software and tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and play a hands-on role in a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced environment or complex matrix organization
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent presentation skills
• Highly motivated and driven, with good integrity and a strong sense of accountability and focused on delivering results
