About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer / Sourcing Specialist with strong expertise in Non-IT commodities, particularly across Professional Services, Operations, and Corporate Services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of procurement experience, including 3+ years as a Senior Buyer, and is capable of driving end-to-end sourcing activities, developing procurement strategies, and managing vendor relationships to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to ensure compliance with procurement policies while contributing to long-term cost optimization initiatives.
Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement Operations
- Lead and execute end-to-end sourcing activities for non-IT commodities, including strategy development, RFP review, vendor research, requirement analysis, negotiation, proposal evaluation, price analysis, vendor selection, and contract management.
- Develop sourcing strategies through supplier analysis, industry benchmarking, and cost structure evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for strategic initiatives related to Marketing or other assigned commodities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes while maintaining a high level of internal stakeholder satisfaction.
- Monitor and control spending to promote cost efficiency and long-term savings.
- Utilize procurement tools and software to support strategic decision-making and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to align procurement initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Recommend improvements to procurement flows, policies, and procedures.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage vendor performance and resolve issues to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Review and enhance third-party agreements; maintain competitive supplier base and long-term business relationships.
- Identify new potential suppliers and consolidate third-party contracts to achieve optimal commercial terms.
- Conduct vendor audits and evaluate performance based on audit findings and key business criteria.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across business units.
- Gather, analyze, and assess procurement processes and documentation.
- Support process improvements through business process modelling and continuous improvement practices.
- Maintain documentation, approvals, and reporting for procurement-related activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 3 years as Senior Buyer / Sourcing, preferably handling Non-IT commodities (Professional Services, Operations, Corporate Services).
- Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Coupa is highly desirable.
