About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer / Sourcing Specialist with strong expertise in IT Commodity procurement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic procurement initiatives. This role plays a key part in driving procurement efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting business goals across the organization.
Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing Activities
- Prepare and conduct end-to-end sourcing processes for IT commodities, including advising and executing sourcing strategies.
- Review RFPs, due diligence requirements, business needs, and conduct vendor research.
- Lead negotiations, proposal evaluation, comparison sheet preparation, and vendor selection.
- Manage contracts and all related procurement documentation.
- Develop sourcing strategies through supplier analysis, industry benchmarks, cost structure analysis, and related assessments.
- Identify opportunities for strategic procurement initiatives across assigned categories.
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes and maintain high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Monitor spending and promote long-term cost-saving initiatives.
- Utilize procurement systems and tools to enhance process efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with finance and other cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement workflows, policies, and procedures.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Address vendor issues and maintain strong, long-term relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Review third-party agreements and continuously enhance supplier competitiveness.
- Identify new potential suppliers and optimize third-party contracts to achieve best commercial outcomes.
- Conduct vendor audits and evaluate performance based on defined criteria.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Identify and communicate with key internal stakeholders.
- Gather, review, and analyze procurement processes and documentation.
- Liaise between business departments to ensure seamless procurement operations.
- Assess improvement opportunities using business process modelling.
- Maintain documentation and approvals for procurement-related projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, including at least 3 years as a Senior Buyer / Sourcing Specialist, preferably in IT commodity.
- Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Coupa is an added value.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
