About the Role

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Key duties include overseeing production line,developing and implementing production plans, monitoring production costs and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and safety standards, driving technological innovation and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Strategic Operational Leadership: Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics, to ensure the on-time delivery of production goals and quality targets.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement & Efficiency: Champion initiatives in Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence to optimize processes, enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Manage, mentor, and develop a strong team of department managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Ensure Rigorous Quality & EHS Standards: Uphold the highest standards of product quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance, and 5S practices across the facility.
  • Manage Plant P&L and Assets: Exercise full responsibility for the plant's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and the efficient utilization of equipment and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Plant Manager / Operations Manager level). Experience in managing KPIs, production targets, budgeting, and operational performance metrics.
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end manufacturing processes, including production planning, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain coordination.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale production operations with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive high performance.
  • Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulatory compliance.
  • A strong, decisive leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills, capable of motivating teams and driving change.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage, especially in multinational environments).
