Reporting Line: Overseas Sales Manager (Beijing Headquarters)
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Overseas Sales Manager to drive market expansion and sales growth in Indonesia. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with strong experience in scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, or industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and collection targets
- Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships
- Manage the full sales cycle, including bidding, quotation, negotiation, contract signing, and follow-through to delivery and payment
- Build and manage local distributors and channel partners, providing training and support
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions and after-sales service
- Organize and participate in exhibitions, seminars, and product promotion activities
- Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, and competitor analysis for headquarters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above; Engineering background preferred (Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, Instrumentation, or related fields)
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, or industrial equipment
- Experience selling grinding machines, centrifuges, or sample pretreatment equipment is preferred
- Proven experience in developing overseas markets and managing B2B sales processes
- Strong negotiation, communication, and key account management skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional local language skills are an advantage
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Willingness to travel frequently
