Corporate & Community Activation Manager

The Corporate & Community Activation Manager is responsible for leading and scaling domestic corporate and community fundraising initiatives by designing activation strategies, driving income growth, managing key relationships, and overseeing the performance and development of the team. The role ensures that Indonesia-owned corporate and community partners are actively engaged through high-quality fundraising activations that align with Save the Children's strategic priorities and brand guidelines.

Key Elements Of The Strategy Will Include

  • Promote Save the Children campaign goals and objectives
  • Securing unrestricted income from corporate & community partnership as the primary goals and restricted as the second.
  • Developing innovative ways of working
  • Ensuring all resources is used as efficiently as possible and income opportunities are maximized.

The post-holder will be an active member of Change Management Team and the Cross-Functional Working Groups and other for as notified by the Indonesia Leadership Team.

He/She will play a key role in shaping the overall strategy of the organisation and driving forward new initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability.

The post holder will be responsible for global KPI as follows:

  • Contribute to achievement of Operations delivery management indicators
  • Contribute to achievement of Awards management indicators
  • Contribute to achievement of Risk and financial management indicators
  • Contribute to achievement of Global Management Indicators

What You Will Do

  • Strategy, Income Growth & Portfolio Management:
  • Lead and deliver the domestic corporate and community activation fundraising strategy to achieve annual restricted and unrestricted income targets.
  • Oversee the identification, prioritization, and conversion of funding opportunities from Indonesia-owned corporations, communities, digital platforms, and third-party initiatives.
  • Manage and grow the Domestic Corporate Pool Fund (D ‑ TIK Pool Fund) by driving diversified income streams from corporate activations.
  • Ensure income targets are met through a diverse portfolio of CSR, cause ‑ related marketing (CRM), employee giving, community fundraising, and campaign-based activations.
  • Review, approve, and guide the development of high-quality proposals, pitches, and activation concepts, ensuring consistency with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure all fundraising initiatives comply with Save the Children's policies, brand guidelines, and ethical fundraising standards.
  • Activation & Engagement Leadership
  • Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of corporate and community activation models that drive participation, engagement, and donations.
  • Set direction for innovative employee engagement initiatives (e.g. payroll giving, fundraising challenges, volunteering with fundraising components).
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of joint campaigns, fundraising events, and digital activations with corporate and community partners.
  • Ensure activation approaches move beyond transactional giving toward sustained engagement and repeat giving.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Business Development team, Programs Operation, Resource Mobilization Team, Program Development team) to identify opportunities for creative partnership model (top-up funds, event based fundraising or integrated activations, etc).
  • Partnership & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain senior ‑ level relationships with key corporate partners, community leaders, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Oversee partner stewardship, ensuring high-quality reporting, recognition, visibility, and impact storytelling.
  • Develop and manage partner account strategies to maximize lifetime value and deepen engagement.
  • Guide and monitor the maintenance of a robust partnership pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Support relationship building with Save the Children's Board and Senior Management Team to generate and convert fundraising leads.
  • Coordination, Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Provide strategic coordination with other department to ensure effective delivery of corporate-funded activations.
  • Set KPIs for corporate and community activation performance and monitor progress against agreed income and engagement targets.
  • Review pipeline data, forecasts, and reports submitted by team members; escalate risks and opportunities as needed.
  • Produce management-level reports and insights on income performance, partner engagement, and activation effectiveness.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, and innovation opportunities to strengthen domestic corporate fundraising systems.
  • Staff Management, Mentorship & Team Development
  • Lead, manage, and support the Corporate & Community Activation team
  • Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans in line with the Performance Management System.
  • Build team capacity in activation design, donor engagement, proposal development, and fundraising execution.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture aligned with Save the Children's values.

Cross Functional Working Groups and KPIs

The Post holder may also be requested to participate in cross-functional working groups as and when required and to contribute to Global KPIs and those agreed with EMT.

What we need from you:

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and minimum 5 years experience in corporate fundraising, CSR partnerships, community fundraising, or resource mobilization, preferably within NGO/INGO or social impact organizations.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a team, delivering income targets through corporate and community fundraising activations (e.g. CSR, campaigns, employee giving), with strong understanding of Indonesia-owned companies and corporate giving practices.
  • Highly effective communication skills, with fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • willingness to travel domestically and work flexibly during major campaigns.
  • Passion for Save the Children's mission and commitment to child rights.

Desirable

  • Experience in fundraising strategy, pipeline management, digital/CRM or employee giving campaigns, and engagement with senior stakeholders or Boards.
  • Relevant training / experience in fundraising, partnerships.
