Main duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Operational Readiness (OR) plans for mining projects
- Identify all requirements to ensure seamless project handover from construction to operations
- Contribute to workforce planning, training, and onboarding activities for operations personnel
- Ensure that all relevant staff are trained and certified prior to commencing operations
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities
- Validate that equipment and systems perform as designed and are safe for operational use
Requirements:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mining industry
- Experience working on greenfield or brownfield mining projects is a strong asset
- Deep understanding of mining project lifecycles from feasibility through operations
- Strong knowledge in SOP development, training programs, and system integration
- Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills
- Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
