Surplusis an online marketplace in Indonesia where customers can purchase excess meals, clothes, skin care, electronic, and more, which haven't been sold by the end of the day.

This marketplace application aims to reduce waste by becoming the first ReCommerce Clearance Sale platform in Indonesia, enabling businesses to sell products categorized as rejects, defective items, slow-moving goods, overstock, as well as promotional or bundled sale items.

For users, the app provides an easy way to purchase quality goods while saving money and helping protect the environment. For retailers, it offers an opportunity to reach new customers, generate additional income, reduce disposal costs, and contribute to a greener planetcreating a true win-win solution for all parties.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, acquisition, customer engagement, and sales growth.

2. Oversee the planning and execution of online marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to create a strong brand presence in the market.

3. Lead and manage e-commerce marketing initiatives, including website/marketing optimization, online advertising, and customer acquisition strategies.

4. Utilize digital marketing channels to reach and engage our target audience, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.

5. Implement CRM strategies to build and maintain lasting customer relationships, ensuring high customer retention rates.

6. Stay updated on the latest marketing trends and tools, including AI-based marketing solutions, and adapt them for the benefit of our brands.

7. Monitor marketing performance, track KPIs, and analyze data to make data-driven decisions and optimizations.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and sales, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree holder (Communications, Marketing, or related field).

2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in online/offline marketing activation.

3. Must have familiarity with the principles of online/offline marketing planning and execution, especially as it relates to digital marketing including KOL planning and execution..

4. Proven track record in managing marketing budgets and delivering measurable ROI.

5. Experience in e-commerce platforms and understanding of customer journey optimization across digital touchpoints.

6. Fluent in English and Bahasa with good public speaking/presentation skills.
