Position Overview
Responsible for system development and technical support activities, including batch processing, MQ integrations, and environment configuration.
You will collaborate with internal teams and third-party stakeholders such as developers, architects, business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth technical delivery and environment readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform coding and unit testing; support integration and UAT when required
- Assist in setting up and maintaining MQ queues for system integration
- Manage non-production environments (DEV, UAT, LIP), including setup, refresh, and access control
- Support solution design reviews and provide technical impact analysis
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch job processes and failures
- Maintain and update technical documentation
- Support defect investigation and deployment activities
- Collaborate with architects to align development with solution design
- Participate in incident resolution for technical issues (non-prod and production)
- Coordinate with production control teams for object migration
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or insurance system development
- Experience with technologies such as COBOL, Life system, CL, and DB2
- Basic understanding of solution design and data flow
- Experience with MQ setup and monitoring
- Experience managing environments (setup, cloning, refresh, configuration)
- Understanding of batch processing and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good collaboration skills with cross-functional and external teams
