System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain system infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Handle configuration and support for IBM HTTP Server and WebSphere plugin.
• Perform system administration tasks for Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments.
• Manage and support IBM DB2 Database, including monitoring, basic performance tuning, and backup & recovery.
• Analyze system and application performance and implement optimization improvements.
• Develop, analyze, and execute queries using Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Support deployment processes, patching activities, and routine system maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server Mandatory.
• Experience with IBM HTTP Server and WebSphere plugin configuration.
• Experience in Linux Red Hat operating system administration.
• Experience with IBM DB2 Database management is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and system integration concepts.
• Strong analytical skills in understanding system requirements and providing effective solutions.
• Good teamwork and customer-oriented attitude.
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
