Role Overview

The Legal Executive is responsible for supporting corporate legal and compliance functions by maintaining accurate company records, managing licenses and filings (OSS, LKPM), and ensuring proper contract documentation and renewals. The role involves liaising with notaries, government authorities, and external counsel to support routine corporate secretarial tasks, as well as providing legal documents for internal needs such as tenders or client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and updated records of corporate documents (e.g., deed of establishment, amendments, licenses, shareholder documents) in both physical and digital formats across multiple entities.
  • Handle standard compliance obligations such as managing NIB (business identification number) through the OSS system, preparing and submitting LKPM (investment activity reports) quarterly, and assisting in company data changes by coordinating with notaries and relevant authorities.
  • Maintain a centralized contract repository under the Legal department, ensure consistent backup of executed contracts, and monitor contract validity and renewal timelines.
  • Provide company legal documents and corporate profiles to internal stakeholders for client onboarding, tenders, or partnership opportunities.
  • Review standard legal documents such as NDAs and assist with BAU (business-as-usual) contract review when required, under supervision.
  • Conduct basic legal research when needed.
  • Manage group-level document repositories consolidate historical legal records, and support external counsel engagement and invoice tracking.
  • Adhoc legal projects, as required.

Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor&aposs degree in Law
  • 1-3 years of working experience in a legal role, either as in-house counsel or at a law firm, though candidates with relevant transferable experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate and commercial law
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in managing legal documents, company records, and compliance filings.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance requirements, document filing procedures, and regulatory platforms (e.g., OSS & LKPM).
  • Able to coordinate with notaries, government agencies, and other external parties for routine corporate secretarial tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and document systems.
  • Poactive and able to manage multiple tasks under deadline and possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Global or regional exposure is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both oral and writing.
