The KOL & Affiliate Specialist for the baby products segment will identify, onboard, and manage of high quality Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) & Affiliates such as parenting influencers, pediatricians, and early childhood experts. The role focuses on amplifying brand trust, awareness, and loyalty by leveraging influential voices in the parenting and baby-care community. This position requires a deep understanding of the target audiences emotional and practical needs, ensuring the brands alignment with their values.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute a KOLs & Affiliates strategy tailored to the baby-care industry, focusing on trust, education, and credibility.
- Align KOLs & Affiliates activities with marketing objectives, including product launches, awareness campaigns, and customer retention goals.
- Monitor trends in the parenting community to identify emerging opportunities for collaboration.
KOL & Affiliates Identification and Partnerships:
- Identify and recruit parenting influencers, affiliates, pediatricians, and early-childhood experts and educators as brand advocates.
- Maintain a database of KOLs & Affiliates with insights into their audience demographics, engagement rates, and areas of expertise.
- Negotiate contracts and deliverables with KOLs & Affiliates, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and budget.
Relationship Building and Management:
- Cultivate long-term relationships with KOLs & Affiliates to create authentic and ongoing advocacy for the brand.
- Organize exclusive events, product previews, or experiences to deepen engagement with the brand.
Campaign Management:
- Collaborate with KOLs & Affiliates to design and execute campaigns, such as product reviews, testimonials, tutorials, and social media activations.
- Ensure KOL-created content aligns with brand values, messaging guidelines
- Monitor campaign execution, addressing challenges and ensuring timely delivery.
Measurement and Reporting:
- Reach KPIs specific to the baby-care market, such as engagement rates, audience trust metrics, and campaign ROI.
- Regularly analyze campaign performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve future collaborations.
- Prepare detailed reports on the impact of KOL initiatives, including consumer sentiment and market penetration.
Team Collaboration and Market Insights:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align KOL efforts with overall brand strategies.
- Stay updated on parenting trends, competitor KOL & Affiliate strategies, and evolving consumer behaviors in the baby-care industry.
Requirements
- Experience: minimum 3-5 years in KOL & Affiliate management, influencer marketing, or public relations in FMCG or the parenting/baby-care industry.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and optimize campaign performance.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with the parenting and baby-care market, including its key opinion leaders and customer pain points.
- Other: Experience working with influencers in regulated industries (baby food) is a plus.
