In this Business Development role, you will support strategic growth by conducting market research, coordinating with internal and regional teams, preparing proposals, assisting with events, and maintaining key industry relationships. Your strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and organizational mindset will help drive our business development activities and strengthen our market presence.
What will you do as Junior Business Development
- Market Analysis & Research: The ability to conduct comprehensive market research and analysis within the engineering and infrastructure sectors.
- Administrative Support: Proficiency in providing essential administrative support for business development activities, including meeting preparation and document management.
- Communication & Coordination: Experience in coordinating effectively with internal teams and regional offices to support various business development initiatives.
- Event Support: Practical knowledge of assisting and event coordinating, to enhancing the company's market presence.
- Sales Coordination: Monitor proposal performance, and prepare data-backed information for presentations and BD meetings.
- Market Awareness: Maintain relationships with allied industries to stay informed of market trends and maintain our competitive advantage.
- Reporting: Actively participate in weekly BD and monthly sales meetings to report on progress toward sales targets and activities.

What you bring as a Junior Business Development
- A Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Business, Digital Business, Management, Marketing, Economics, Communications.
- Basic engineering or technical knowledge is a plus-point to effectively understand and explain Haskoning's service offerings.
- Possesses strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in the engineering and infrastructure sectors.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing administrative tasks and data with accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various teams.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), Canva, related-digital marketing tools.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, as this is essential for internal and external communication.
