Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an IT Project Manager. The selected candidate will lead project planning, execution, and delivery across diverse IT and software projects. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, allocating resources, overseeing budgets, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. The IT Project Manager will communicate project progress and outcomes effectively with stakeholders while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution from planning through deployment
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with company and client goals
- Develop detailed project plans and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives)
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project health metrics
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues and bottlenecks
- Ensure quality assurance, budget control, and resource efficiency
- Help foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and transparency
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software or digital product development
- Proven experience managing cross-functional remote teams
- Proven experience managing waterfall and agile projects
- Familiar with project management and Agile/Scrum tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello, Notion)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Tech-savvy with a general understanding of software development processes
Nice to Have
- Experience working in or with startups
- PMP, Prince2, Agile, or Scrum certification
- Familiarity with UI/UX processes and tools (e.g., Figma, Zeplin)
- Ability to translate business goals into technical execution
Additional Information
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote position
- Salary Range: RM 3,000 RM 5,000 (depending on experience and skill set)
- Nationality Preference:Indonesian, Malaysian, or Vietnamese
- Language Requirement: Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
