Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end IT project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closing).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, infrastructure, security, and vendors.
  • Translate business requirements into project scope, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and IT governance standards.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates to management.
  • Ensure system implementation aligns with security, data protection, and audit requirements.
  • Support UAT, SIT, deployment, and post-implementation review activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Experience handling IT projects in banking or financial services (preferably Sharia banking).
  • Proven experience managing medium-scale IT projects with multiple stakeholders.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of SDLC (Waterfall & Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience managing projects related to core banking, digital banking, middleware, or regulatory systems.
  • Familiar with SIT, UAT, release management, and change management processes.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, application development, and system integration.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, risk, compliance, and information security is a plus.

Project Management Skills

  • Strong planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar).

Certifications (Preferred)

  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) is an advantage.
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
