At Captain Fauna, inventory, accounting, and omnichannel operations are not just back-office tasks they are core drivers of healthy cash flow, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.

We're looking for an Inventory Accountant who can manage accurate accounting records while also owning inventory and SKU performance across our omnichannel operations. This role sits at the intersection of finance, inventory, sales, and operations, ensuring that every transaction, stock movement, and sales activity is properly recorded, analyzed, and reflected in the numbers.

What You Will Do

• Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction data entry in Accurate
• Create, manage, and reconcile sales and purchase invoices
• Support and execute monthly financial closing, including reconciliation of sales and inventory value
• Operate and maintain omnichannel operations (Jubelio) to ensure accurate stock and sales order synchronization
• Monitor inventory movement and stock accuracy across all channels
• Track and analyze SKU performance (unit sold, GMV, contribution, and channel performance)
• Calculate DSA (Daily Sales Average), stock coverage, and prepare unit sales forecasts
• Identify slow-moving SKUs, propose stock clearance actions, and track sales generated from clearance

What We're Looking For

• Background in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields
• Experience in accounting operations, bookkeeping, or inventory-related roles
• Strong understanding of Accurate accounting software
• Familiar with omnichannel systems such as Jubelio (or similar systems)
• Comfortable working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)
• Detail-oriented, structured, and consistent with data accuracy
• Able to connect accounting data with inventory and sales performance
• Organized and disciplined with reporting and reconciliation
• Interest in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods businesses
• Experience with inventory analysis, SKU performance, or omnichannel operations is a plus
