Job Description

Position: HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Indonesia

Reporting Line: Country Manager / Regional HR Director

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Business Partnering & People Management (Approx. 40%)

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to factory and business leaders, translating business objectives into effective people solutions
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for local employees, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, performance management, transfers, and offboarding
  • Support performance management processes, including performance evaluations, data consolidation, and improvement actions
  • Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, and labor disputes, ensuring compliance and risk control
  • Establish effective employee communication mechanisms to enhance engagement and workforce stability

2. Recruitment & Talent Development (Approx. 20%)

  • Develop and execute recruitment plans based on factory capacity and business growth requirements
  • Coordinate recruitment channels, interviews, offer approvals, and onboarding to ensure timely hiring of key positions
  • Support the planning and implementation of employee training programs, including onboarding, skills development, and compliance training
  • Participate in talent review, key employee identification, and succession planning initiatives

3. HR Operations & Compliance (Approx. 20%)

  • Manage employee records, HR data, attendance systems, and HR-related reporting
  • Handle statutory benefits, social insurance, payroll-related coordination, and tax compliance matters
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Indonesian labor laws and internal company policies
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and HR-related compliance certifications

4. Factory Administration & General Affairs (Approx. 15%)

  • Support the drafting, implementation, and maintenance of factory administrative and management policies
  • Manage factory fixed assets, including equipment and office assets, and support periodic inventory checks
  • Coordinate factory visits for customers, suppliers, and headquarters teams
  • Support daily factory administrative operations, including meetings, internal events, and cross-functional coordination

5. External Liaison & Government Coordination (Approx. 5%)

  • Maintain good working relationships with local government authorities
  • Coordinate government inspections related to safety, fire protection, and environmental compliance
  • Manage applications, renewals, and ongoing compliance for business licenses, permits, and certifications
  • Support crisis communication and issue resolution with relevant authorities when required

Qualifications

  • Diploma or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of HR, HRBP, or factory HR experience in manufacturing environments

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong business mindset with the ability to support factory operations through HR solutions
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented, and results-driven
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced factory environment
  • Familiar with factory HR operations and administrative workflows
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • High awareness of labor compliance and employee relations risk management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience dealing with local government authorities, inspections, or factory compliance audits
  • Background in Chinese-funded enterprises or multinational manufacturing companies is a plus
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) strong advantage
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) is an advantage
