Role Purpose
The Head of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across the companys multi-site manufacturing network. The role ensures safe, efficient, and sustainable operations while driving growth, innovation, and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end operations across all production facilities to deliver on safety, quality, cost, and service commitments.
- Drive operational excellence through standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
- Building leadership capability and a high-performance culture.
- Partner with the Board on strategic capacity planning, modernization, and expansion projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
- Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce carbon footprint and resource consumption.
- Manage capital investments and optimize production asset utilization.
Candidate Profile
- Proven senior executive with 15+ years in large-scale manufacturing; background in paper, packaging, pulp, or process industries strongly preferred.
- Successful track record managing multi-site operations of comparable scale and complexity.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational efficiency, supply chain integration, and large workforce management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Languages: English mandatory; Chinese and Indonesian highly advantageous.
- Engineering or technical degree required; MBA preferred.
