Head of Human Resources

We are partnering with a leading multinational energy company on a confidential search for a new Head of Human Resources to lead HR operations for their Indonesia business. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape people strategy and ensure compliance across a complex and dynamic market

About the Head of Human Resources:

• Lead the end-to-end HR function for the Indonesia entity, covering workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, compensation & benefits, and organizational development
• Act as a strategic advisor to the Country Manager and leadership team on all people-related matters.
• Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws, employment regulations, and industry standards
• Develop and implement HR policies and programs aligned with both local regulations and global company frameworks.
• Manage and mentor a small HR team (two direct reports) to deliver operational excellence and business partnership support

Skills and experience needed:

• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong expertise and in-depth understanding of Indonesian labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
• Proven track record of leading HR functions within large multinational organizations, ideally in energy, natural resources, or related industries
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
