Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, plan and develop menus, and ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. Additional responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, monitoring inventory, ensuring food safety compliance, and collaborating closely with the management team to uphold the restaurant's brand standards. The Head Chef will be a key leader, driving innovation and maintaining excellence in Thai cuisine.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in culinary techniques, menu planning, and food preparation
  • Strong leadership, team management, and staff training abilities
  • Expertise in Thai cuisine and a deep understanding of traditional techniques and ingredients
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
  • Innovation in creating new dishes while preserving authentic flavors
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
  • Culinary degree or relevant accreditation preferred
