About the Role
PT. Pelsart Tambang Kencana is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer based in Jakarta. This role will focus on geotechnical data analysis, technical evaluation, and providing support across our mining operations in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage geotechnical data from multiple mining sites.
- Review pit slope designs, stability assessments, and ground support strategies.
- Prepare consolidated technical reports and provide recommendations for mine planning and risk management.
- Support site teams in implementing monitoring systems and interpreting results.
- Collaborate with mine planning, operations, and safety teams to integrate geotechnical input into designs.
- Review studies conducted by consultants and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian regulations and international standards.
- Conduct periodic site visits for validation, training, and technical support.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Mining Engineering.
- 35 years experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in mining.
- Proficiency with geotechnical software (Rocscience, GeoStudio, Slide, Phase2, Plaxis).
- Strong analytical and technical reporting skills.
- Knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and international practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel to mine sites when required.
