General Ledger Accountant

Job Description :

• Handling Regional accounting activities, includes invoices processing
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closing process
• Preparation of monthly flux analysis on accounts
• Reporting to Regional Senior Finance Manager
• Liaise with internal stakeholders
• Assist with external audit and liaise with external auditors
• Assist with GST reporting and Corporate Income Tax
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Regional Senior Finance Manager

Job Requirement:

• Degree in accounting
• At least 3 4 years of working experiences in accounting and finance with at least 1 year experience as GL accountant
• Experience in preparing full set accounts
• Knowledge of accounting standards (FRS/IFRS), principal and procedures
• SAP experience is a plus
• Candidate should be meticulous, careful and have an independent working style
• Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to deliver within tight timeline
• Communication in English is essential
