Hiring: Functional Consultant – Front Arena (Treasury & Risk)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Work Mode: Work from Office (5 days preferred or minimum 3 days/week mandatory; no remote work)
Language Requirement: Bahasa Indonesia (mandatory)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Front Arena Functional Consultant to work closely with business stakeholders and deliver solutions across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Accounting functions. The role requires strong domain expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to engage effectively with business users in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to gather, validate, and deliver functional requirements
- Configure and implement workflows across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and Accounting
- Support end-to-end implementation of treasury and risk systems
- Conduct onsite workshops, scope validation, and user training sessions
- Handle instrument setup, static data configuration, and data upload processes
- Configure and validate accounting treatments for financial instruments
- Work on trade lifecycle, limits, and risk management workflows
- Ensure smooth implementation of SWIFT messaging solutions
- Support reporting requirements including risk and regulatory reports
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in professional services or consulting roles
- Strong experience in implementation of treasury and risk platforms such as:
- Nasdaq Calypso
- Murex
- Finastra Summit / Opics
- Hands-on experience in configuring workflows across FO, MO, BO, and Accounting
- Experience in implementing Front Arena (preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial instruments including:
- FX (Foreign Exchange)
- Money Market (MM)
- Fixed Income
- Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD)
- FX Options and Structured Products
- Experience with:
- Trade lifecycle management
- Market Risk and Credit Risk
- Accounting (including IFRS 9)
- Experience in SWIFT messaging implementation
Domain Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets and Treasury operations
- Hands-on experience in:
- Instrument setup and static data configuration
- Risk reporting and analysis
- Accounting configurations (CDs, Bonds, FX, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Basic technical exposure to ADFL or Python
- Techno-functional experience is acceptable
Additional Requirements
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to work from office in Jakarta as per policy (no remote option)
- Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams.
