Job Description

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical/structure/subsea/material engineering from University.
  • Min 10 years of offshore Oil & Gas Industry experience, 5 years of subsea structural engineering, including involvement in Deepwater projects in execution.
  • Experience in Follow-up of detailed structural design, fabrication and erection specifications and plans of subsea assets by Contractor and Sub-Contractors.
  • Experience in Follow-up of fabrication, testing, load-out, installation of the subsea structures for the Project, i.e.:

 Production Manifold,

 SSIV Station,

 corresponding connection systems (resp. horizontal driverless connectors and flanged connections)

 Mid Water Arch,

 Subsea Distribution Units,

 foundations of above structures (gravity base / suction pile / mud mat types)

  • Experience in Assist the Package Manager and the Engineering Coordinator in the following:

 Follow-up the project detail engineering, technical queries and technical interfaces related to structural design and fabrication of subsea structures,

 Resolving technical and delivery issues concerning all aspects of subsea structures,

 Monitoring and reporting engineering, criticalities and physical progress at fabrication yard to the relevant Package Manager,

 Witnessing of manufacturing and intermediary / final acceptance tests, follow-up of physical progress and troubleshooting,

 Support to offshore installation, commissioning and production start-up.

  • Having experience working in FPU/FPU/FLNG and brownfield project
  • Experience with subsea structures within the Project schedule and in compliance with Project specifications and Project objectives
