Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and the month/year-end closing.
Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure strict compliance with all local and international financial regulations, tax requirements, and cryptocurrency-specific accounting standards (digital asset accounting). Develop, document, and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.
Audit Management: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, managing the annual audit process and regulatory reporting.
Cash/Digital Asset Management: Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow and digital asset holdings, including banking relationships and crypto reconciliation processes
Financial Strategy: Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to executive leadership, offering strategic insights to drive business performance and manage financial risk.
Requirements:
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with proven experience as a Controller or similar senior role. (mandatory min. 5 years of experience)
Experience in Public Accounting Firm (min. 3 years of experience), FinTech, Financial Services, or Cryptocurrency/Digital Assets is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Related Certification (such as CA, CPA, etc) is favorable
Familiarity with the unique accounting and regulatory requirements of the cryptocurrency industry is a plus.
