About the Role
A financial officer is responsible for managing the financial transactions, including developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update daily cash flow and report related to daily cash movement.
- Perform overbooking process to support conventional and sharia related transactions.
- Perform subscription payment process for unit-linked transactions.
- Maintain cash balance and idle funds in accordance with internal procedures or agreed bank limit.
- Perform bank to bank transfer.
- Prepare cash flow projection.
- Perform payment process to third parties (e.g., vendors, salesperson, reinsurance, intercompany, tax, etc.).
- Perform benefit payment process to policyholders.
- Update weekly cash memo report.
- Provide payment proof as per request.
- Review every reimbursement in the system related.
- Perform the redemption, COI and APH payment process, including its journal booking.
- Verify every payment request or cash disbursement voucher before processing the payment.
- Perform analysis for daily payment process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in Accounting or Financial Management.
- Min. 2 years experience in a financial institution or banking industry.
- Fluency in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Having knowledge in other Microsoft tools, e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate would be beneficial.
- Conversant in English and writing skills.
