The Finance Manager Hospitality is responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, and control functions for hospitality operations, including hotels, villas, or resorts. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, regulatory compliance, and sound financial planning to support operational excellence and profitability.
The position partners closely with operations, revenue, and management teams to provide financial insights, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and hospitality industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll coordination, and inventory accounting.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in accordance with PSAK and company policies.
- Consolidate financial reports for hospitality units and provide analysis to management.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections for hospitality operations.
- Monitor departmental expenses and conduct variance analysis against budgets.
- Implement and maintain effective cost control systems for Rooms, F&B, and other operating departments.
- Work closely with department heads to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.
Operational Finance & Controls
- Ensure proper revenue recording, daily income audit review, and cash handling procedures.
- Oversee inventory controls for F&B, operating supplies, and assets.
- Maintain internal controls, SOPs, and compliance with hospitality accounting standards.
- Review contracts, vendor agreements, and pricing from a financial perspective.
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations related to hospitality operations (PPN, PPh, service charge).
- Coordinate tax reporting and filings with the Tax team or external consultants.
- Support tax audits, financial audits, and regulatory reviews.
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and payment approvals.
- Monitor AR aging, credit control, and timely collections.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions as required.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team at the property or cluster level.
- Establish performance targets and ensure adherence to deadlines and accuracy standards.
- Coordinate closely with Revenue Management, Operations, HR, and Procurement teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA/CA/BKP) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 58 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in hospitality finance (hotel, resort, or villa operations).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PSAK, hospitality accounting practices, and internal controls.
- Proficient in PMS and accounting systems (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and financial reporting capabilities.
- Good understanding of revenue management, service charge, and payroll processes.

Language:
