Prism Consulting Group is a boutique executive search setup. We are hiring for a leading early stage Venture Capital firm with a focus on FMCG sector . Role scope is ASEAN countries . Based in Jakarta.

Role : Principal Consumer-Focused Venture Capital (Jakarta, Indonesia)

A leading corporate venture fund is looking for a Principal to join its regional investment team in APAC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of venture capital and high-growth consumer startups across Southeast Asia .

As Principal, you will work closely with the Managing Partner, driving investments in emerging consumer brands, direct-to-consumer (D2C) startups, and high-potential ventures. Special focus on early-stage VC ecosystem .

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing & Origination Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the consumer space
• Market Analysis & Due Diligence Conduct commercial, financial, and legal assessments of startups
• Investment Execution Lead deal negotiations, valuation analysis, and investment structuring
• Portfolio Management Work closely with founders to accelerate growth and create value
• Stakeholder & Market Engagement Build strong networks within the VC ecosystem in SEA

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of VC experience, preferably in non-tech consumer sectors
• Strong Indonesia experience - local language will be added advantage
• Deep network in the startup and investment ecosystem
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic evaluation skills
• Background in CA, CFA, or MBA (Finance/Marketing)
