Job Descriptions:
Demand Forecasting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market trends, and business inputs.
- Utilize statistical models and forecasting tools to predict future demand and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Analyze sales trends, customer demand patterns, and promotional impacts to adjust demand plans accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain, procurement, marketing, and sales teams to align demand forecasts with operational goals.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to ensure business-wide alignment on demand planning strategies.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize inventory levels, replenishment cycles, and stock allocations.
Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization
- Monitor inventory turnover, stock levels, and supply chain KPIs to improve demand planning accuracy.
- Identify potential risks in supply-demand balance and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain and update demand planning reports and dashboards, ensuring visibility across departments.
- Perform root cause analysis for demand forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Leverage advanced Excel, ERP systems, and demand planning software to enhance forecasting accuracy.
Continuous Improvement & Market Trends Analysis
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities that impact demand planning.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting methodologies and supply chain performance.
- Adapt planning strategies based on seasonality, new product launches, and market fluctuations.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics.
- Proficiency in demand planning software (SAP APO, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong quantitative and statistical skills for analyzing sales trends and forecasting models.
- Experience collaborating with supply chain, sales, and marketing teams to align forecasts with business needs.
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Understanding of inventory management, stock optimization, and supply chain dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Familiarity with FMCG, retail, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
