Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its related components. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale data integration programs and possess advanced technical skills in building and managing data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows on GCP.
• Work on large-scale data integration projects ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to understand critical design decisions and implement them effectively.
• Deploy and manage data solutions using CI/CD processes and version control tools like Git.
• Ensure data security and compliance through proper use of IAM and other GCP security features.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer with GCP.
• Technical Expertise in GCP Components: DataFlow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, IAM, Composer, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run.
• Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Knowledge of Git and ability to deploy pipelines through CI/CD processes.
• Ability to understand and implement critical solution design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in optimizing data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
