Data Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain data transformation and modeling processes within the data warehouse
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows for reliable data processing
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand data needs
• Develop and maintain warehouse schemas, tables, and views for analytics and reporting
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met
• Monitor performance and continuously improve scalability and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/Snowflake)
• Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling, SCD)
• Familiarity with orchestration tools and basic containerization is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
