Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and execution-drivenCountry Manager Indonesiato lead our operations, partnerships, and regulatory engagement in Indonesia. This role requires deep understanding of the Indonesian payments ecosystem, strong relationships with regulators and local partners, and the ability to design and optimize new payment flows to serve both domestic and cross-border needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory & Compliance Leadership

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with Bank Indonesia (BI), OJK, and other relevant regulators.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, and reporting obligations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory updates and audits.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with local banks, PSPs, aggregators, and payment providers for bothpayins and payouts.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure smooth partner integrations.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem players to launch innovative solutions that enhance customer experience.

Payment Flow Strategy & Optimization

  • Strategise and implement new payment flows (domestic and cross-border) for greater efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Continuously review and improve existing payment rails to enhance reliability and scale.
  • Work closely with product and tech teams to localize global solutions for the Indonesian market.

People Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing local team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and compliance-first thinking.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the Indonesian payments and fintech regulatory environment (Bank Indonesia, OJK).
  • Proven track record of managingpayin and payout partnershipsin Indonesia.
  • Ability tostrategize, design, and optimize new payment flowsfor domestic and cross-border use cases.
  • 8+ years of experiencein fintech, payments, or financial services, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills ability to influence regulators, banks, and partners.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with fast-paced and high-growth environments.
