Job Description

  • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Monitor budget utilization and ensure alignment with business strategy and revenue targets.

  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, new projects, and expansion initiatives.

  • Review business cases for new store openings, warehouse expansion, product launches, and strategic investments.
  • Ensure investment decisions are financially sustainable and aligned with company priorities.

  • Support strategic expansion planning across retail, distributor, manufacturing, and digital channels.
  • Analyze profitability impact, funding requirements, and operational scalability of new business initiatives.

  • Reduce financial leakage and governance gaps.
  • Board and Executive Financial Reporting
  • Prepare strategic financial reports for Managing Director, Board, and executive leadership.
  • Support board meetings with investment summaries, financial risk analysis, and decision recommendations.
  • Coordinate financial governance reporting and executive-level financial visibility.
  • Improve decision transparency and executive oversight.
  • Policy Governance and Compliance Monitoring
  • Develop and review finance-related policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate with Internal Control, Accounting, and Treasury teams for compliance alignment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Master's degree (MBA) or professional certification (CFA, CPA, ACCA) preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 6–10 years in corporate finance, investment, or financial strategy

Experience In

  • Financial modeling
  • Fundraising / banking / investment
  • Strategic planning
  • Background in investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance is a strong advantage
  • Act as financial advisor to management for strategic decision making.
  • Support major negotiations, funding strategy, pricing decisions, and expansion planning.
  • Provide cross-functional financial insight for sustainable business growth.
  • Align financial strategy with overall company objectives.
