This role is critical to the region's performance and will have direct influence over strategy, revenue delivery and market positioning. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping commercial direction while leading a high-performing team across multiple markets.

The Role

You will be accountable for regional revenue and profitability, translating strategic objectives into disciplined commercial execution. This includes strengthening existing strategic accounts, unlocking new growth opportunities, and ensuring pricing and margin integrity across the portfolio.

Beyond delivery of numbers, this role requires leadership, building capability within the team, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and positioning the organization as a trusted long-term partner to its customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full regional revenue, margin and growth performance with accountability for overall commercial P&L
  • Shape and lead the regional commercial strategy, translating global direction into market-specific execution plans
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key strategic customers and high-potential prospects
  • Identify and unlock new revenue streams across existing portfolios and adjacent market segments
  • Lead, develop and elevate a multi-country commercial organization, fostering performance, accountability and succession planning
  • Drive pricing governance, margin optimization and commercial discipline across the region
  • Negotiate and structure complex regional agreements that balance long-term growth, risk and profitability
  • Ensure robust forecasting, pipeline visibility and alignment with operations, supply chain and finance
  • Partner closely with regional and global leadership teams to influence investment decisions and long-term market positioning

Profile

  • 15+ years of progressive B2B commercial experience within performance materials, specialty industrial products, or adjacent technical sectors
  • Proven P&L ownership with consistent delivery of revenue growth, margin expansion and operating targets
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-country commercial organizations and building high-performing regional teams
  • Strong track record managing enterprise-level strategic accounts across heavy industrial, tire & rubber, polymer, automotive or advanced manufacturing customer segments
  • Established executive-level relationships with multinational industrial customers and regional procurement leadership
  • Proven ability to shape and execute long-term commercial strategy aligned with global business objectives
  • Advanced commercial and financial acumen including pricing governance, margin optimization, contract structuring and risk management
  • Confident negotiator capable of closing complex, high-value regional agreements
  • Experience operating within matrix structures and influencing cross-functional leadership teams
  • Regional exposure across Asia with strong understanding of multi-market dynamics is highly preferable

This is a high-impact leadership position offering regional scope, strategic ownership and the opportunity to shape long-term market direction within a well-established international organization.
