About the Role
The Civil Engineer supports SCG Indonesias projects by designing, reviewing, and supervising civil and structural works for industrial facilities, infrastructure, and building-related projects. This role ensures that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with SCGs standards of quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review designs, drawings, and specifications for civil and structural projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works meet design requirements and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines on design and execution.
- Evaluate project feasibility and provide technical solutions to optimize cost, quality, and schedule.
- Support procurement teams by preparing technical requirements and evaluating vendor proposals.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates on project milestones and issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and company guidelines.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- 05 years of experience in civil/structural engineering, construction, or project execution.
- Knowledge of design codes and software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
