To provide Civil engineering design work from engineering feasibility study phase to the commissioning phase of the project with a good quality of deliverables, meets company standards and National & International codes & standards. Provide technical assistants to operational and maintenance departments for problem solving and root cause analysis. Coaching and mentoring Civil engineers and junior Civil engineers to improve design methods, quality and minimize design production time. Technical review to other Civil engineers design.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and supervising Environment, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) standards and regulations by ensuring working environmental conditions, equipment, materials, methods, worker behavior, and 5S under area responsibility with the aim of minimizing risk, achieving safe and secure conditions (Zero Harm), clean environment, and achieved work productivity targets.
- Ensure comprehensive and constructible Civil construction drawings are issued.
- Develop technical specifications for equipment/materials purchase and cost estimates aligned with project scope.
- Create material requisitions and recommend the best tender offers for equipment & materials.
- Produce Civil & structural tender scope of work, review bids, and propose the best offer.
- Engineering Work Package (EWP): Prepare EWP documentation and commissioning procedures, ensuring clarity on construction, safety, and quality.
- Conduct inspections, resolve technical issues during execution, and complete commissioning to meet project objectives.
- Lead high-quality, technically competent, and professional engineering efforts. Optimize designs, ensure safety and reliability, recommend expert resources as needed, perform technical reviews, and complete design within necessary timeframes.
- Maintain document records, close project EWRs, recommend improvements to engineering standards, provide technical expertise to operations and maintenance, coach engineering staff, collaborate with project designers, and identify & implement infrastructure and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 (five) years of experience as Civil/Structural Engineer.
- Have a valid Pengawas Operasional Pratama (POP) certificate from ESDM.
- Fluent in English communication (writing, reading, speaking).
- Knowledge of engineering operating systems, digitalization and application programming, civil engineering principles, including but not limited to engineering design software and manual calculations, project management systems and principles, finite element analysis, project cost estimation, project planning and scheduling, material selection, applicable engineering design standards, national and international standards.
- Computer literate, experienced in MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Preferably have experience or knowledge in the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System (SMK3L).
