In Indonesia, we are expanding our TikTok & Commerce Media practice to drive growth for a large global FMCG client and beyond.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Director Indonesia to lead and grow our TikTok and commerce media business. This role requires a proven leader with strong client management skills, deep knowledge of TikTok Ads, TikTok Shop, and Live Streaming, and the ability to build strategic partnerships with TikToks local and regional teams.
The Business Director will serve as a trusted advisor to a large global FMCG client, helping them maximize growth through TikTok commerce solutions, and will drive Bidmaths market leadership in Indonesias rapidly growing commerce media ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Business Leadership
- Act as the senior business lead for a large global FMCG client in Indonesia, owning TikTok strategy, execution, and growth.
- Develop, implement, and optimize TikTok Ad, TikTok Shop, and TikTok Live strategies to drive measurable business outcomes.
- Translate client goals into scalable TikTok commerce media solutions.
- Drive revenue growth for Bidmath Indonesia through commerce media and social partnerships.
Partnership Management
- Build and nurture high-impact relationships with TikToks Indonesia team across Ads, Shop, and Live Streaming.
- Work closely with TikTok to unlock beta features, joint business plans, and co-innovation opportunities.
- Represent Bidmath at key TikTok and industry events to position us as a thought leader in commerce media.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers, strategists, and media specialists focused on TikTok and commerce media.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and performance within the Indonesian team.
- Collaborate with regional Bidmath offices to share knowledge and scale best practices.
Business Development
- Identify new opportunities to expand Bidmaths TikTok commerce offering across verticals beyond FMCG.
- Support new business pitches with TikTok-centric solutions.
- Work with regional leadership to shape Bidmaths commerce media strategy across APAC.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in digital media/commerce, with at least 3+ years focused on TikTok Ads, TikTok Shop, or Live Streaming.
- Proven track record of managing large FMCG or e-commerce accounts.
- Strong relationships with TikTok teams in Indonesia or APAC.
- Deep understanding of commerce media and the evolving social commerce ecosystem.
- Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale new business lines.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
