Job Description

Jet Commerce is a leading e-commerce ecosystem service company in emerging market countries in the Southeast Asia regions and Brazil. Providing all in services for brands to win emerging e-commerce markets. Jet Commerce assists brands and local sellers in growing their e-commerce businesses by providing end-to-end e-commerce solutions that prioritize the customer experience. In addition, Jet Commerce offers a variety of other services through its various business units, including Omnichannel System, Live Commerce, Warehousing and Fulfillment Service.

Jet Commerce currently operates in six Asian countries: Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, and many more to come.

Position: Business Development Specialist

What will you do:

  • Identify potential brands, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Evaluate and understand brands demand by following up proactively.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through various channels such as cold calling, emails, and attending industry events.
  • Regularly update the pitch deck to align with company growth and market trends.
  • Align with cross-functional teams to gather historical performance and insights as reference for pitch deck.
  • Sort and qualify potential business opportunities through forecasting and analysis.
  • Identify brands existing pain points and our offered solution.
  • Conduct cost calculation to generate the best-fitting business proposal to cater to brands necessity.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial agreement terms for both parties.
  • Maintain and build strategic relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Maintain and build strategic partnership with platforms.
  • Work with Legal on finalizing Contract Point and Agreement between parties.
  • Work with Finance to raise quotation, invoice and close up on account receivables.
  • Work with Category Team to resolve uprising issues raised by brand partners.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field.
  • Proven minimum 1-2 years of working experience as Business Development in the e-commerce industry, or related industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Detail-oriented and familiar with all e-commerce platforms.
